At ISI Sports Folk High School, you are surrounded by unique facilities – for your sport, your teaching and for your every day lives at the school. All facilities are either located at school or in walking distance from the school.

Your new folk high school life
As a student at ISI folk high school, you'll live in modern rooms with your own bathroom and toilet. You'll share the room with two roomies and it'll be your base which you can always return to whenever you need it.
At the end of the room corridor, you'll find the common room with lots of games, tv, playstation, a huge couch, which is often filled in the evenings when it's time to unwind and relax. At the bottom floor of the school, you'll find a huge common room with table football, pool, table tennis, a big tv screen, couches, playstations and much more. Here, there's room for partying, relaxing and simply hanging out with friends.
Outside, there are lots of opportunities to relax and hang out. Most recently, we’ve built an area for hammocks - but we also have a fire pit, a shelter, a sauna, and a wilderness hot tub.
After a long and physically demanding day, there are plenty of ways to spend time with friends and rest your body - both indoors and outdoors.
At and around ISI, you have access to, among other things:
- 6 indoor sports halls
- Strength training facilities both at ISI and at Ikast-Brande Arena
- Ikast Complete - one of Denmark's most innovative activity and training areas next to FC Midtjylland's Dream 99 centre: a grass-covered "hill" with built-in running tracks with curves, stairs for stair workouts, areas for interval training, foot tennis, a balance zone, chill-out zones for stretching, trampolines and climbing areas
- 16 well-maintained football pitches, including EDC Arena with modern artificial turf, Goalstation and Goalbox
- Stadome – a covered, full-size artificial pitch, ensuring we never have to cancel training, even in snow and freezing conditions
- Our own strength and fitness centre
- Two 5-a-side artificial pitches right next to the school
- Tullamore Golf Club with a driving range, putting green, practice bunkers and short-game facilities
- Access to Ikast Swimming Centre
- Access to outdoor padel and tennis courts at Ikast-Brande Arena
