At ISI you will furthermore be part of an inspiring folk high school environment and community, which will provide you with valuable personal skills.

ISI Equestrian Course was established in collaboration with Ikast Riding School, one of the largest and best run clubs in the country. On the course you will receive tuition by highly qualified instructors and riding masters in unique riding and training settings. You will experience lots of exciting and educational challenges for both yourself and your horse.
The equestrian course has its base at ISI Sports Folk High School - a great foundation for your personal and horse riding development. We know by experience that the best results are achieved in an environment where people thrive and succeed. Riding lessons are furthermore planned so that you can participate in the general schedule at the folk high school.
Our tuition is based on good management: Training on the horse's terms and with focus on the horse's health. We emphasise both the practical and theoretical side of the sport.
At Ikast Riding School you will receive tuition four times weekly, in the company of 3 to 4 other riders. One-to-one lessons can be purchased if necessary. It is a natural part of your development as a horse rider that you participate in competitions that suit your level.

Ikast Riding School is one of the largest and best run clubs in the country. It has stables for 90 horses and the club has dressage and jumping masters, students and stable staff.
Ikast Riding School is located close to woods and hilly terrain, providing great opportunities for horse riding trips surrounded by nature. In addition, the club every year organises A, B and C competitions that you can participate in.
